How to reach the desk

Email support@bnyvest.app. Include your iOS version, BNYVest, the tab (Market / Stocks / Schedule / Calculation), and whether the issue remains after force-quitting and reopening the app.

Not a brokerage desk. We cannot place, amend, or cancel orders, and we cannot restore Watch notes after you erase device data unless you still hold a backup file you can open.

Suggested path: add a few Watch codes → enable only the alerts you need → use Schedule around earnings week → keep a backup before any erase.

Playbooks

Watch is empty

Stocks → Watch → Add code. Groups, notes, and notifications are stored only on this device. Search by ticker/code, then confirm the group name.

Notifications silent

Settings → Notifications, and iOS Settings → BNYVest → Notifications. Digests may cover revisions, ratings, and calendar items you enabled.

Biometric lock

Settings → Lock. When enabled, Face ID / Touch ID or device passcode is required after leaving the app.

JSON backup

', '

Settings → Backup. Export or import. A password protects the package; leave it empty for plain JSON. Import overwrites watch, note photos, and virtual trades. Lock settings stay on the device. The file must be a BNYVest backup.

Erase device data

Settings → Erase data on this device. Watch items, notes, photos, virtual trades, and notifications are removed. There is no cloud restore. Export a backup first if you still need the records.

Figures look stale / not advice

Sample display time is 5 October 2026; prints are not real-time executions. Red = up, blue = down. Calculation tools never send orders to a broker. Prefer issuer filings when numbers disagree.
